Newsweek Cover Story on Epilepsy, April 2009

In April 2009, Newsweek featured a cover story on Epilepsy, along with a few sidebar stories. The article gained much attention and was frankly a wake-up call to the millions of people around the world who knew nothing of the impact and the toll this disease takes on people each year.

Many in the Epilepsy community feel this was just another step in raising awareness and erasing the stigma of Epilepsy.
