Since it is Christmas, I will make this a very short post…not too much for some of our “over-stressed” brains to take in!
This next week is the one in which so many of us will be making our New Year’s Resolutions. I love hearing the ones like, “I will lose 15 pounds” or “I will go to the gym each day” or “I will stop shopping as much as I do”! For me, mine sound a lot like, “I promise I’ll take my meds at the same time each evening and not fib about it to my neurologist!” or “I swear I won’t stress myself out over things I cannot control so I won’t throw myself into seizures that can be avoided”.

    Again…all part of the realization that we CAN be masters of our own destiny and we can manage our own health and well-being if we take control. But, it takes effort.
    So, maybe take this weekend and part of next week and think about what you can do to live a healthier and more ‘in-control’ life in 2010. I will talk more about this next week! Enjoy this Christmas weekend with friends and family, and take care of yourself!
